Zoom for Healthcare
The Zoom-Cornie health integration enables providers and patients to easily schedule and launch Zoom sessions for virtual health appointments right from inside Cornie health. Zoom for healthcare is HIPAA compliant.
With a Cornie Health Zoom integration,
Providers Can
- Start Zoom video visits directly from Cornie Health.
- Be notified via Cornie Health when a patient has joined the scheduled appointment.
- Invite additional participants to the video visit.
- Enter and exit a visit without ending the session by placing the patient in the waiting room.
Patients Can:
- Launch Zoom from their patient portal or via email sent by Zoom.
- Receive customized messages when they join the video visit before the provider.
- Rejoin the video visit even after dropping off as long as the session is still active.
Access profile, contact information, and Settings
Providers must have a valid Zoom (free or paid) account to complete the setup on Cornie Health. When you authorize your Zoom account on Cornie health, Cornie Health will access your Zoom account and access your data as described below:
Create Meetings
Cornie health requires meeting write permissions to enable it to create new appointment directly on your Zoom account.
View scheduled and active meetings
Cornie health requires access to your booked and active meetings to enable it manage meeting conflicts during appointment booking. Cornie health can view this information at any time, including outside a Zoom experience.
View current user's profile information
- Cornie health requires access to your Zoom user's profile information to manage function calls between your Cornie health account and Zoom and help it deliver the functionality required on Cornie health.
- We provide our virtual visits through Zoom for healthcare. If you are a patient and do not wish to use Zoom for your virtual visit consultations, we advise you not to request a virtual visit from within the App.
- You may share sensitive information with Cornie Health when you authorize your Zoom account. You can authorize or cancel your authorization from your account settings>>practice>>Zoom for Healthcare at any time.
- By clicking Authorize, you authorize Cornie health to use your information in accordance with her privacy policy. You can revoke this access at any time.
